    System crashes when watching media

    Hi,

This laptop seems to BSOD everything I watch video (youtube, steaming etc). Guessing it's either the video card or the sound card but not a clue which.

Tried logging with Dell but they insisted it wasn't a hardware fault. I know of two other people with the same model laptop having the same problem so I think it's more hardware related (no common software other than Windows 7 and Office). The laptop is a Dell E4310 running Windows 7 Business 32bit.

Attached dumps. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Tom

Virtually all of these were caused by e1k6232.sys, which is your Intel gigabit ethernet driver. A simple re-install with the newest version should help fix this.

    How To Find Drivers:
    - search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
    - - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
    - - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads
