IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL BSOD Yes, I realize there is a thread with the same topic a little ways down the page.
Yes, I have read the BSOD posting guide.
Yes, I have extensively searched on this forum as well as others.
Yesterday I started having the BSOD with the error stated above, this is the first time this has ever happened on this computer.
Computer specs:
Windows 7 Pro 64 bit
no hardware older than 6 mo. old
When I start the computer all is well until I type in my password to log in, and as windows is loading, it crashes. every. single. time. I get the same error every time, with no exceptions. The CPU is idling at 37-38*C consistently and I tested each ram stick one at a time, so unless both are bad (which I doubt), the ram is fine. I would upload the minidump files for you guys to read but, since I cant even load windows for a minute, that is relatively impossible. Thanks for any help. | My System Specs |

No I can't it crashes every time I boot no matter what mode its in. A few days ago when it first started happening it did it 6 times in a row, then worked fine for the rest of the night. The next day it wouldn't boot without crashing at all, and thats how it is today.
The attachment below just popped up, would it have anything to do with this? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Made OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU AMD X4 Motherboard ASUS Memory G.Skill 8gb Graphics Card HIS 5770 Sound Card N/A Monitor(s) Displays HP 2001m Screen Resolution 1600x900 PSU Corsair 650w Case Cooler Master HAF 922 Cooling Stock heatsinks Hard Drives Seagate 1TB |

Thank you, I actually found this out last night as comcast emailed my dad stating a computer in the house was infected with this malware, the problem is, I am using a hard drive from an old computer right now (vista) and I actually already downloaded what you reccomended last night, but cant get it to scan the other hard drive with Windows 7 on it, it only scans the one I currently use. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Made OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU AMD X4 Motherboard ASUS Memory G.Skill 8gb Graphics Card HIS 5770 Sound Card N/A Monitor(s) Displays HP 2001m Screen Resolution 1600x900 PSU Corsair 650w Case Cooler Master HAF 922 Cooling Stock heatsinks Hard Drives Seagate 1TB |

Extract the TDSSKiller.exe to a USB drive, right on the root directory (F:\, G:\, whatever the letter is).
Boot up the DVD or repair CD again, and open the command prompt as before. Enter the following: If you are getting about not finding that file, replace F with G, E or even H (if you have a lot of drives!) | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Macbook Pro 15" (2011) (Matte Version) OS Win 7 Pro x64 SP1 OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.7 CPU Intel Core i7 2820QM 2.3GHz (Quad-Core) Motherboard N/A Memory 8GB 1333 MHz PC3-10600 DDR3 SDRAM Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 6750M (1GB, GDDR5) Sound Card N/A Monitor(s) Displays 1 Display Screen Resolution 1,680 x 1050 (Matte Screen, Anti-Glare) Keyboard Apple Wireless Keyboard Mouse Apple Wireless Magic Mouse PSU N/A Case N/A Cooling N/A Hard Drives 750GB SATA (5400 rpm)

The problem with that is, I downloaded Win7Pro with the student discount, and burned the ISO to a DVD so all I have is the installation DVD, nothing else. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Made OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU AMD X4 Motherboard ASUS Memory G.Skill 8gb Graphics Card HIS 5770 Sound Card N/A Monitor(s) Displays HP 2001m Screen Resolution 1600x900 PSU Corsair 650w Case Cooler Master HAF 922 Cooling Stock heatsinks Hard Drives Seagate 1TB |
