    Hi,
I see from the other forum that you have on the motherboard an EtronTech USB 3.0 host controller.
Could you please disable from BIOS the USB 3.0 support?
This is a new chip and several users have reported BSOD pointing to EtronXHCI.sys.
(If you can I would disable also USB 2.0 from BIOS for testing purposes.)
    Regards.

OK. Fortunately USB 2.0 is provided by another chip.

Edit: Please also check if you have PnkBstrB.exe service running on your PC. This is also known for causing BSOD. If you have it, try to disable it for testing purposes.

Edit2: On the other forum you say that the Etron driver was detected as a virus by your AV. This could have corrupted the Etron driver even if after that you have reinstalled it successfully.
There are new Etron drivers (version 0.98), available only from Gigabyte site. http://download.gigabyte.eu/FileList...etron_usb3.exe
I'm posting this link only for later use.

What is the status? Do you still get BSOD after disabling USB 3.0 ?

See another user having BSOD, in his case it was the Etron driver:

I have disabled it in BIOS as suggested, and it has been up for 5 days as of posting... Unless it lasts a week i cant say that this resolved the issue... as things i have tried in the past would fail on the 6th or 7th day...

The system has now been up for 7 days... it seems that this has resolved the issue

On a side note, i guess i just need to wait for the new drivers from asrock to enable usb 3.0 support

Everyone who helped should of been repped....

    THANKS!

Glad to hear you found the cause, and have a stable system.

Well, I got same problem here.
Asrock p67 extreme, i5-2500k, no USB3.0 port is occupied.
Fresh installed windows7 64 bit. Once I installed the USB3.0 driver either 0.89 or 0.94 version, the system got BSOD a few minutes later. Then I rebooted the pc and entered into windows safe mode which is fine and stable. Then I used system recovery to recover to the previous status without USB3.0 driver installed. Now the system is fine after rebooting into regular windows 7.
