BSOD / freeze during windows startup

    Hi

I just did a fresh install of Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. A full windows update, and updated all the drivers i could think of. Then i tried enabling Driver Verifier to test that everything was stable, and it wasn't...

When i reboot/boot my pc it sometimes does a BSOD with the irql_not_less_or_equal error, and other times it just hangs. Both cases during the "Starting Windows" screen. Happens about every other time i boot. But only when i have Driver Verifier enabled.

I have two sticks of RAM, tested with both in, and with each one single. No difference. Have tried a memtest86+ with no errors in 16 passes.

Tried to switch out the harddrive and do a fresh install - didnt help either. Did a sfc /scannow with no errors reported.

And all the hardware is brand new, and the harddisk is about the only thing im able to switch out as that is the only extra piece of hardware i have.

NO minidumps included in the upload try this method.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

    The procedure:

    * Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
    * Zip up the copy.
    * Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.

    To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
    OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

    Done!

There where no minidumps before doing this. Did one reboot and got a BSOD and a minidump and here it is
