Windows 7: BSOD all the time, randomly, with apparently multiple causes

BSOD all the time, randomly, with apparently multiple causes

Hello. I've attached the files as per the posting instructions. I've also attached the minidump files for the last 5 crashes.

Basic system info:

Win 7 Home Premium x64 (retail)
Intel i5 2500k
Asus p8p67 le (mobo)
8GB DDR 3 Ram
Nvidia GX 570

Background: System crashes randomly. Sometimes when under heavy load (gaming, or rendering), sometimes when browsing, sometimes when just idling. Using a bluescreen reporter it has given multiple causes, but I don't know what to do. I've updated all drivers manually (some from MS update, but most from vendor sites).

I greatly appreciate any help or insights, as it's driving me crazy.

You have at least 8 different causes and that is usually indicative of hardware. I would start by running memtest

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program.

Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.

Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

I should have mentioned this earlier, but I already ran memtest86+, once even overnight for dozens of passes. It came up with nothing.

I also figured it could be a hardware issue, including ram. Could it be something simple like a keyboard or wificard issue, if not the motherboard or ram?

I'll run memtest again though, to be sure.

EDIT - I didn't test different slots though, so I'll try that.

Along with running memtest please run these tests

1. Prime95 - Run all three tests for a couple hours each -
2. Disk Check
3. Hard drive scan using Seatools

Browse to device manager and look for any devices with a yellow exclamation mark. Right click on them and attempt to install the drivers. You can also download the latest chipset for your motherboard and see if it fixes those driver issues.

Please report all results and any errors/new BSOD that you run into.

Windows 7 Home Premium x64

I've ran Prime95 previously, and it does indeed crash, but only with the same frequency as otherwise, and with the same results. My temperatures remain stable while running it, and the same with graphics benchmarking.

However, I just ran memcheck again, and unlike a week ago, this time it came up with 5 errors. I saved a screenshot on my DSi, so if that's needed I can probably figure out how to transfer it.

If the ram is giving errors, is that an issue that can only be resolved by returning it? Or is there a way to fix it?

I'll run the Seagate boot disc too since I might as well, but I am guessing it's the ram if there were errors...

I will run memtest with just 1 stick at a time (I have 2 4GB sticks).
