    New PC build turns off within a sec of power on


    I just built a new i3 SB machine with a gigabit board. It was working fine for 3 dys put win 7 on it, but now all of a sudden it just shuts off as soon as i press the power button.

    I took the board out and looked at it and i powered it on outside the case but it still does it. Everything looks kosher to me.

    Could be a few issues, maybe the power button is getting stuck in and just powering down the machine.
    Mobo or PSU might be defective.
    What I would do is unplug all hardware and just use the bare minimum and see if it still powers down.

Hey guys. The PC I'm on right now has been turning itself off randomly when I am using it. When it does this the power light is still showing, mouse is still lit up usb sytick still lit up etc. What could be the cause of this and how can I fix this?? Thanks:)
