BSOD Machine_Check_Exception....HELP!
Hi,
My Computer:
HP Pavillion Elite (work computer, no server, connect to an external HD via a linksys router)
Intel Core i7 CPU / 920 @ 2.67GHz 2.67GHz
Installed RAM 9GB
Computer is "as is / out of the box" with the exception of software installs.
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? 64 bit
- the original installed OS on the system? orig was Vista HP 64 bit, a month or two ago upgraded to 7 HP 64 bit (SP1 installed a couple weeks ago)
- an OEM or full retail version? Full Retail from microsoft
- What is the age of system (hardware)? About a year
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) a few months
Ok, here goes....
Almost everyday when I start up my computer, I get either a hard freeze, a hard freeze that goes to a blue screen, or an immediate blue screen. After it freezes/BSOD's on me, I restart and it runs fine for the rest of the day. This happened even when we had the Vista OS.
Now, the BSOD errors were not all the same. Most times its (paraphrasing) "clock interrupt interval invalid" but i think the info i have attached will give you the codes. I ran a memory test and it gave no errors.
Im somewhat computer savvy but im not sure what other info you need. Let me know if you need anything else.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)
Trey
