    My pc is freezing up before I get to the windows is starting screen!! HELP!!

    Are you able to boot to Safe Mode or Safe Mode with Networking?

    I tried that it froze, also froze during the trying to repair windows screen. Next boot was ok. This has steadily been getting worse

    Have you tried booting with the "Last Known Good Configuration" option?

    Yes done that it works for a while then the same thing starts again. registry cleaned, defragged and temps all fine.

    Registry Cleaners

    I don't personally recommend the use of ANY registry cleaners.
    Here is an excerpt from a discussion on regcleaners
    Most reg cleaners aren't "bad" as such, but they aren't perfect and even the best have been known to cause problems.
    The point we are trying to make is that the risk of using one far outweighs any benefit.
    If it does work perfectly you will not see any difference
    If it doesn't work properly you may end up with an expensive doorstop.

    Do you have your Windows Installation DVD? You may have to do a Repair Installation. Before doing that, you might try a rescue disc to rule out malware.

    Thanks, for that , I will make a rescue disc. try that. To be honest I think its my mobo (
