I have windows 7 64 bit. I left my computer on over the weekend (was running a mine craft server from it) and I left to go on a trip. Sometime that night the server went offline. When came back today, I found m computer at the windows 7 recovery manager.

I have no clue what happened, my computer hasn't been acting up at all. I first tried a boot repair, and it didn't find any problems. I restarted it and a chkhd ran and it said that disks needed to be checked for consistency. I let it perform this and it began to "replacing invalid security id with default security id file xxxx." it finished but still got stuck on the black screen after windows loaded. I ran a memory scan and it finished without detecting any problems.

This black screen with cursor happens if I try to run in normally or also in any safe mode, so basically I can't do anything. I do not have any system restore points, there is no factory restore option (it's a gateway), and I do not have a windows 7 cd. Does anyone have any insight or suggestions? I've searched extensively and can't find any solutions. Thank you for any help, I'm kinda desperate. I really need my pc this week.

Also worth noting, I can not ctrl+alt+del at the black screen.

Without a windows disc around, I can't come up with anything.
Is it possible for you to maybe borrow a disc just to get this system booting again?

I'm currently asking around trying to find one, but I'm not having luck finding someone with the same version as me. I'm sure some place like geek squad would carry something like that, but they charge so much I may as well buy a new HDD and copy of windows
