Windows 7: Different BSOD each time

Different BSOD each time

I keep getting random bsod's. irql, 03d and more that I am sure I missed. compiling all the info for you has been the longest it has stayed up :P

I ran a memory test and had no issues. Can someone just take a peek and see if they can spot anything?

I am running Windows 7 professional 64 bit, it was a full retail install and if i remember correctly it was done before christmas. no issues until yesterday!

thank you so much

windows 7 ultimate

Hi peersins and Welcome.

STOP 0x0000000A: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Usual causes:
Kernel mode driver, System Service, BIOS, Windows, Virus scanner, Backup tool, compatibility

Your latest dump file lists ntkrnlmp.exe as the probable cause. This is a Windows System file and for it to be the cause of your crash is highly unlikely.
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7, often giving false error codes. Random error codes can also indicate hardware issues.

As a Priority:
AVG is known to be a cause of BSOD's on Windows 7 systems. Suggest that you uninstall it. Download the correct AVG Remover for your system (32 or 64 bit).
If you have AVG ID protection installed, download the AVGID Protection Remover from the above link as well (it wouldn't hurt to download and run it anyway). Download Microsoft Security Essentials as its replacement. Re-boot to Safe Mode. In Safe Mode run the AVG Removal tools. Re-boot to normal mode and install MSE. Make sure your Windows firewall is enabled!

Rt64win7.sys Thu Feb 26 09:04:13 2009 Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller v7.041

Can you think of anything that may have happened/changed to help this sudden start of BSOD's?

Let us know how it goes. If you get further problems with blue screens, attach your new dump files and details and we'll move on from there.

I cant think of anything other than AVG updating this morning then all hell breaking loose! I've just restarted my desktop (the problem) from safe mode and I uninstalled AVG and will throw the Microsoft one on now. But so far so good. Not a blue screen yet.

Hopefully this is correct, i just ran the collection app again. let me know if this is correct or not and i will do what i can to get it.

I updated the Realtek, pulled off AVG but cant get MSE to update because it wont stay on long enough before it blue screens again.

You might have a rootkit infection with the number of ataport.sys BSOD's your having. Try running this rootkit removal tool

How to remove malware belonging to the family Rootkit.Win32.TDSS (aka Tidserv, TDSServ, Alureon)?

Code:
Rt64win7.sys Thu Feb 26 04:04:13 2009 (49A65B0D)
Your Realtek driver still is not up to date. Get the latest from here

Ok I ran that and it found a "RootKit.Win32.TFSS.Tdl4" I had scanned my system about 10 times with malwarebytes and spybot yet it never picked that up. hmmm.

I cured and am now hoping for the best as it has actually booted all the way to my desktop and hasnt crashed out yet. I am currently praying to the BSOD gods to keep it this way.

Thank you very very much and if it happens again is there anything else I should look for??
