Windows Won't Load
My daughter was on my computer and said there was a popup box that said "Would you like to install" and she clicked "Yes" (she said she meant to click no, haha).
Now, Windows 7 won't load. It keeps opening into Startup Repair, but after Startup Repair completes, it says "Starup Repair cannot repair this computer automatically".
I have tried System Restore and that didnt work either. It said it could not complete the restore and I only had one restore point listed. The problem details read as follows:
Problem Event Name: StartupRepairOffline
Problem Signature 01: 6.1.7600.16385
Problem Signature 02: 6.1.7600.16385
Problem Signature 03: unknown
Problem Signature 04: 21200756
Problem Signature 05: AutoFailover
Problem Signature 06: 8
Problem Signature 07: CorruptFile
OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
Locale ID: 1033
Anybody have any suggestions? I bought this at Best Buy (it's a Gateway) straight out of the box and I dont recall there being any CD's included so I dont have a Windows 7 CD or Repair CD. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
