Occasional BSOD/Frequent Hanging

Hello, recently I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. Previously I ran Memtest_86 to discover I had some bad RAM which I replaced. I get the occasional BSOD(2-3 a day), also my system hangs usually about 9 or 10 times a day.

My system atm-

Acer Aspire x1700
Intel Pentium Duel E2220 @ 2.40 GHz
Windows 7 32x with SP1
Originally ran Vista 32x
Retail Version
4GB RAM
320GB HD
System is roughly 2 years old.

Start off by running these tests and report back the results
1. Memtest86 - Run for 7-8 passes - RAM - RAM - Test with Memtest86+
2. Prime95 - Run all three tests for 3-4 hours each or until fail - https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html
3. Disk Check
4. Hard drive scan using SeaTools - Both long and short tests

Updated driver, ran memtest_86 previously(less then a week ago)[6 passes, one error] that is what discovered my bad ram which was replaced. The reason there are so many failed updates is that when I install the updates and restart it goes black and reverts back to a previous state. Driver verifier has been running for almost 6 hours and no issue. I hope this information helps.

Please run the three prime95 tests and also the disk check and seatools scan and report back the results.

Attempted to run Prime 95 three times. It hung the instant I initiated the program. Is there a work around?

I don't believe so. You can try running it in safe mode but I don't that will help. What type of PSU do you have?

EDIT: Was it the computer hanging or just Prime95? You can try this stress test program and see if you yield the same results. Download - OCCT Website english

I have an Intel(R) Pentium(R) Duel CPU E2220 @ 2.40GHz 2.40GHz.

Also I attempted to run prime95 three time and it failed every time.
