Windows 7: Lots of bluescreens

Hi guys!

Well, where to start? I recently bought a new mainboard because the old one died, then did a clean Windows install and now I'm stuck with tons of bluescreens. They only occur while gaming, are utterly random and I really don't know how I could fix this. I had bluescreens before the new Windows install too, but not that many.

HDD SMART says ok, memtest86 showed nothing, Speedfan is telling me nothing's too hot. Hardware specs are in my profile.

Using Windows 7 Ultimate x64, full retail, my system is about 1.5 years old (except for the mainboard that is), did the fresh install ~3 weeks ago.



Windows_NT6_BSOD_jcgriff2 and perfmon log are both in the attached zip.

So, thanks in advance, hope you guys can help me.

Most are blamed on hardware. he rest your video driver. I suspect the truth is somewhere in between.

I would read

Your .dmp file shows a stop error of 0x124 which is a general hardware error .

A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint.

Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress.

Since I did all the suggestions already (except for the bios flashing, will do that), I think I know what I'm up to now. I'll see if I can find an old graphics card somewhere to replace the current one. If that resolves the issue, I know what's wrong.
