Windows 7: Windows Resume Loader (Frozen)

Windows Resume Loader (Frozen)

I have a HP Pavilion (dv9920us to be specific).
What happened is that my laptop was on standby mode without the charger plugged in and i guess the battery was low and it hibernated (But the while hibernating it turned off).
Now when i turn on the laptop the HP logo comes up and after that theres a black screen with a blinking cursor on the top left. I have to restart it again and press F11 for System Recovery, then it goes to the Windows Resume Loader screen and freezes there. There are two options
1: Continue with system resume
2: Delete restoration data and proceed to system boot menu

But my keyboard does not respond. I read somewhere that if i plug in a PS/2 keyboard it will work but my laptop doesn't have a port for PS/2 keyboards.

Any way to get through this???
Please help...
