    Hi,

I have been in contact with the computers manufacturer and they have sent me this:
What you are describing sounds like a rare fault, possibly even a virus with 1 of the 2 RAM modules. By removing the side panel, you are not in any way jeopardising your warranty with us. Firstly from the back of the PC remove the 2 vertical crews on the Right side of the machine, this panel then slides off. Please ensure power is off first. Then once that has been removed, the RAM is the long green stick, approximately 20cm long. As 1 of the 2 RAM sticks may be faulty, please remove one of them, switch the Pc on, and see how it goes. It may be that you have removed the faulty one. But if the problem still occurs then remove the other RAM stick from the PC, and reinsert the first one you removed, so in a nutshell the process of elimination, as one is faulty and one is not. Good luck, and please let me know how it goes. Once you find out which one is faulty, please let me know, and I will replace it with another under the warranty.
After removing the first stick, I have had no problems, apart from the loss in speed. So hopefully the problem might be fixed! Yay *touch wood*

Cheers guys for all your help, I will try to update this post with any further goings on. :)

Thank you very much for the update. I hope you have found the problem. Defective RAM definitely falls under the category of a hardware problem. :) Please let us know how your system does when you get the new RAM installed.
