Hey everyone!
Just signed up as I saw that as a whole this community seems really helpful and friendly!
And I need your help! And maybe your friendliness...
Basically I will try and give you as much info as possible:
Problem: Random Blue Screen (Possibly more occurent when watching HD video or playing games, but maybe not[Just seems to be when it has happened most]) appears and then turns off computer. Sometimes it says IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and sometimes it doesn't. After occuring the computer attempts to restart, sometimes successfully, but if not I force shut it down and boot it up manually and its fine until the next blue screen (which maybe in an hour or a week)
Attempts: Sometimes when it re boots up a message appears about it (White text on black background) about "Recovering lost DRAM", or something like that. I assumed it was a probably with one of my sticks of RAM, and removed one. Computer worked fine for a week! But then I have just had the "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL" blue screen again today, so the problem was not solved.
Perhaps I should try removing each of the sticks in turn?
Here are the specs of my computer
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
CPU: Intel i7 3.07gHz quad core
GPU: Geforce GTX 570 GDDR5 1280mb
RAM: 3 x 2GB OCZ Gold Gaming Ram
Power supply: 1000watt Cooler Master Pro
Chassis: Some Antec server case.
I would really appreciate any help you can give, as I had saved up for this computer for a year as a student who composes music digitally, and would rather solve this problem myself than return it (After initial delays of a month when ordering)
If there is any more info you would need to help me, please ask!
Thank you so much in advance!
Shig.
