BSOD and infinite reboot until startup repair booted

    Hey all,

New to the seven forums, but no forum newbie here but i'm having some trouble with my new Radeon HD 5570 drivers. I've installed 11.3 and the system would crash and begin an infinite reboot until windows startup repair booted. I am able to do a system recovery and get it working again, but only for it to crash again.

I've came to the conclusion that some windows update is causing the crash, because it was a fresh install of win 7 on a brand new hd and i tested my theory by disabling all updates and running the 11.3 drivers for 3 + days - then finally got courage to install the windows updates and immediately after installation the system crashed...

Since then i've tried the 11.3 and 10.12 drivers all with clean uninstall's and re-install's with drivers sweeper and even cleaned my registry... cannot seem to get anything to work, as i type i'm attempting the 11.4 preview but i doubt i'll have any luck...

here is the log from the crash:

    Problem Signature:
    event name: blue screen
    os version 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
    locale ID: 1033

    Additional information about the problem:

    BCCode: D1
    BCP1: 0101247e
    BCP2: 00000002
    BCP3: 00000000
    BCP4: 90195AC2
    OS version : 6_1_7600
    Service Pack: 0_0
    product: 256_1

Files that help describe the problem:

    C:\windows\minidump\042111-20716-01.dmp
    C:\users\Appdata\local\temp\WER-36332-0.sysdata.xml

    any suggestions?

Have you tried using the automatically installed drivers that windows provides? Do they crash as well?

no the windows drivers don't seem to have a problem, but they are just the early 8. something version of the AMD's and didn't seem to look as good, but if i can't get these 11.4's to stay stable i'll end up just using the windows ones until a further update or something. i will have to upload the bsod report later this week its study for finals time until then

    Thanks for the quick reply

Lol. that sounds about right. ATI can never release good drivers.
