Windows 7 doesn't start after partition moving
I have a dual-boot configuration with Windows 7 and Fedora 14. I wanted to encrypt Windows partition using TrueCrypt, but it doesn't work when there is a separate "boot" partition for Windows.
That's what I've done:
1) Made the "boot" partition inactive and C: active.
2) Reinstalled bootloader to C: using bcdboot c:\Windows /s c:
3) In Fedora deleted that "boot" partition and updated GRUB configuration.
Windows 7 booted and everything worked fine.
4) Back in Fedora used gparted to move and resize Windows partition to fill unallocated space.
5) Reconfigured GRUB again.
After this operation I couldn't start Windows. I tried fixing it with Startup Repair from Windows 7 DVD, but it didn't work. Then I tried fixing it manually, with bootrec /fixmbr, /fixboot and /rebuildbcd. It said "Operation completed successfully", but Windows still doesn't boot.
Windows partition is fully accessible from Linux. Diskpart reports that it's the only active partition on my disk and Chkdsk doesn't detect any errors.
Do you have any ideas how to fix it?
Thanks in advance.
