    bsod after attempting activate vmware


    here is my file , got the bsod after attempting to install winows 7 on vmware program
    thanx guys

    windows 7 ultimate x64

    8gb ram

    seagate 500g Hd

    AMD II 3 athlon 3.10 ghz

    edit: the windows 7 iso i tryed to load to vmware was a multi edition with x86 and x64

    Hello are you sure that you have installed the correct ( x64 bit ) version ?
    Also I was trying to analyze the dump file,and found something,but I contacted one person from BSOD Team,and will wait for him to reply. (Cause I'm beginner in this and don't want to give you wrong instructions.) :)

    it didnt get to the install point on the vmware i got past setting it all up and recommended ram usuage at 1024mb i tryed to put it upto 2gb applyed then got the bsod

    edit : what have u found

    Hello there. Remove that version with Revo Uninstaller and install the latest version of VMware,or update that version with the latest.

    just got another bsod soon as i clicked finish it went to start installing then got the bsod

    ok i managed to read the bsod as it restarted quickly it says * The driver is corrupting the Locked pages tracking structures *

    No dumps were collected by the jcgriff2 tool, dumps may have been deleted. Did you run any system cleaners(such as Ccleaner) after the crash?
    If so wait for the computer to crash and re-upload the file :)

    Are you using a "modded" version of windows?
    Remove Avira AntiVir for troubleshooting purposes
