Windows 7: BSOD at wake up after sleep

Kingston actually doesn't have drivers. Their SSD use Win 7 drivers. I contacted them and they don't have firmware update either.

The technician suggested that I disable turning off the drive in sleep mode since their is no spinning platters...which makes sense. On the other end it bothers me since I think it would not turn the other regular drives off.
Anyway it tried and it sorta helped but not really, still getting BSOD

I contacted Kingston again and they seem to have a great policy regarding drives issues, here is their response:
Then the drive should be replaced or re[paired. Please provide the numbers off the drive that resemble these 993333-444.A00LF. Accuracy in reading this information is important please. I will then authorize a replacement or repair for you.

Jonathan, thanks again for your help.

Hi, i was about to post a thread for my exact same problem of random stop errors on resuming from sleep or hibernation...and found this thread so just posting here instead of creating another thread for now...already gone through many such threads. i've tested my memory, hard drives...even reseated and cleaned up all my hardware connections but couldn't get rid of the problem.

i had found the KB977178 fix suggested here by Jonathan_King some months back but had forgotten all about it when for some time i didn't have the errors and the fact that my primary hard disk is just 320gb. the description of the hotfix displayed the 0x77 error as well which came up in my bsod so i have just applied the fix to my system anyways.

having tested my system now many times in the last half hour putting it to sleep/hibernation and resuming at varying lengths of time and the issue is yet to show up again after the application of the fix

so fingers crossed and many thanks Jonathan for the information , i hope i dont get the bsod again.

Welcome to SF Punchsucker!

Thanks for stopping in with that...good luck! If it doesn't help, you can post back in this thread, and I'll ask the mods to move everything over to a new thread.

looks like i spoke too soon... got the message "windows did not shut down properly...." when i tried resuming from sleep without hybrid sleep enabled.
when i previously had that enabled it used to restore itself from the hard drive.
now what do i do i feel out of options.

Have you tried changing the Intel RST drivers as this guy did?
