    default gateway not available-final solution

I saw one post on this problem but couln't figure out answer. I have a new hp computer and every hour I lose internet with the default gateway problem. Is there a definitive answer on how to fix this? And I am not really that tech savvy.

Hi and welcome can we get your system specs and netework setup to know what hardware we are dealing with?

go to search>type cmd>ipconfig /all and snip the output and upload it.

Also try ipconfig /release , then Ipconfig /renew. Let us know the results

Hey iceberg, make sure you put a space between ipconfig and the /release switch, as well as the /renew switch.

Also, what post did you see? Can you link it for us?

Just an fyi, I was having the same problem - turning off Windows Firewall appears to have fixed it.
