COnstant BSOD's
Ok let me start by saying ty for any help provided
I built this system 6 months ago, and I did not have any problems with it until recently.
The problems started after I did a format and reinstalled windows 7 about 4 weeks ago.
The computer BSOD's randomly even if it is just sitting there for hours at the desktop without any programs running.
It also likes to BSOD and crash out of Starcraft2 a lot, as a matter of fact after I play SC2 and exit the game. the computer always pops up a prompt for me to send a crash report to blizzard and tries to run the sc2 repair program.
Win 7 Pro x 64
AMD Phenom II x6 (not oc'd)
asus m4a88td-v
nvidia gts 450 ( not oc'd)
4x 2 gb ddr3 corsair ram 1600mhz
hitachi 1tb deskstar hdd
antec 850 watt psu
included are two crash dumps that I have. the one on 5-1-11 occurred whilst playing sc2, was at the end of a game of nexus wars which involves several hundred units piled in a small space all moving around, probably heavy use of the gpu at that time.
the previous crash dump was from a time i was sitting at my desk reading my assembly language book, I had been working with masm in visual studios about an hour earlier. The computer was at the desktop and had been idle for around an hour when it just rebooted for a reason unknown to me.
I have suspected the gpu for several weeks now as being the culprit with my computer woes, however I now completely baffled as to the cause.
