    Win7 Failure to boot.

    Hi there.

Just the other day I was using my pc perfectly fine as I would every other day, I turned it off via the shutdown button & the next day I went to turn it on, BIOS booted up fine, drivers..etc.. Then it starts to load a white loading bar at the bottom of a black screen.

The bar fills up, but then just comes to a hault, Not entirely sure why. I tried changing over the cables connected to my HD's and it turns out one of them will boot the BIOS & go to a black screen and the other will boot the BIOS & go to the white loading bar.

What makes it even worse is that I own a ps3.. really bad timing.

Do you have a Windows DVD in the drive, and what is the order of HDDs in the BIOS?

    It shows.
    IDE Primary Master - None
    IDE Primary Slave - None
    IDE Secondary Master - ST3160812A
    IDE Secondary Slave - ST380215A

No I do not have the Windows disc in, I'll have a look around for it.

It is sounding like your PC is trying to boot the Recovery Partition.

Check the hard drive with the manufacturer's diagnostic tools.

You might try changing those to primary master and slave.
