Windows 7 32 bit BSOD - NETwlv32.sys
Hi all,
Getting the BSOD's on Hp pavilion dv6000 (RE128PA#ABG) (> product info page DV6113tx), which has been occuringfor at least 4-5 monthssince around march 2010. The laptop is old, going on 5 years from purchase brand new, though I can't afford a new one as I'm studying a bachelor degree and not employed.
SYSTEM INFO (see system specs):
W7 32 bit (home premium)
Service pk 1
Processor: Intel(R) Core (TM)2 CPU T5500 @ 1.66GHz, 1667 MHz, 2 Core(s), 2 logical Processors
BIOS version/date: Hewlett-Packard F.2E, 22/03/2010
SMBIOS version: 2.4
There are no W7 drivers available through my product page (only vista), though I run the drivers made for vista or those that HP update and windows update finds. I tried the Nvidia beta, except converted back in order to narrow down the cause of the problem.
I don't really want to do a clean install as I have an assignment overdue and 2 more I need to start on, but I think I am going to have to clean install. This would be a pain in the proverbial behind having to reinstall the programs I need and their updates and what not....I'm mentally at my limits, no...I'm beyond them.
I managed to delay the shutdown time a few days ago to allow me to take a pic of the BSOD for everyone to view. I haven't located the dump file, need to follow instructions on how to and hopefully those here will work wonders.
Performing bios diagnostic right now, on my iPhone posting this thread.
Update 1 (5:52 pm): Bios diagnostic passed.
Update 1 (9:48 8th may 2011): BSOD today - changed some settings, let me know if the BSOD dump files are included in the new attached '....jcgriff.zip (BSOD 2).zip' file. Uninstalling norton 360 now. Have installed some other extra troubleshooting utilities (HWinfo32, BlueScreenView).
Will add the required info as things move along i.e. Screen shot, error dump etc.
Below are photos I took last night when BSOD last occurred.
A: BSOD full screen shot
B: BSOD partial screen shot
More diagnostic info to come. Stay tuned!
