I have used one of these boards which I built for my mother. The system specs are
ASUS M4A79XTD EVO, AMD Athlon II x2 255, 4GB ram crucials 2x2gb. Antec SP-350 PSU, Samsung SATA 320GB drive, Windows 7 64bit Ultimate. Latest BIOS. Standard PS/2 keyboard and a Logictech M100 USB mouse.

Here is what I found out. The Chipset is not compatible with every USB device.
The logictech M100 mouse caused numerous bluescreens. With the error code of USBOHCI.SYS every time it bluescreened. It would even lockup the system when in bios.

Ever since I used a standard PS/2 mouse or a different mouse that is a USB type other than logictech M100 the bluescreens have stopped.

The weird thing about this whole thing. I was blaming the ram because if I put the modules in the slot of 1 and 3 and ran it as a single channel unganged mode the logictech M100 Mouse did not cause an issue. As soon as I put both modules in the 2 black slots and enabled dual channel. Ganged mode and ran the pc for 6 mins it would BSOD with the USBOHCI.sys. But if I ran ram memtest with the mouse connected no ram errors were reported in 2hrs of testing.

Oh and do not stick any kind of Teamelite brand ram into this board they are straight up junk. Went through 6 sticks with errors in memtest.

Can someone report this to ASUS?
