Just an update. I had posted something in another forum about how switching to the "Processor" driver from the "Intel Processor" driver fixed your problem and this is what one of the members said

If switching to a processor driver that doesn't allow sleep states "fixes" things, it's likely there's a hardware issue in one (or more) of the CPU cores or L1 caches at that point.

When you say "sleep states" what do you actually mean? Sleep and hibernate? because my laptop can sleep and hibernate, and I've no problems since changing the driver.

Yes. I assume that's what he meant. But if everything is working for you then just leave it be.
