This (ATIkmpag.sys.) indicates a video driver problem of some sort.
There are no dump files with this error. Though the BSOD is supposed to write one it doesn't.

    I downloaded http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonaiw_vista64.aspx?type=2.4.1&product=2.4.1.3.43&lang=us&rev=&ostype=Windows 7 - 64-Bit Edition 7 - 64-Bit Edition

But not sure if this will do me any good, just a guess.

    Any ideas out there?
Re-installing the video driver is the first thing to do. remove using this

When upgrading your graphic driver you MUST remove all traces of the current driver. In order to do that we recommend using Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

    Or Phyxion.net - Driver Sweeper

When it is removed then download and install the fresh copy.

I swept the old files out but when installing the new drivers I can't click the 'next button" for the installation screen. The button is at the bottom of the window which is past the bottom of the screen. Any ideas how to get to it?

Thanks, I uninstalled the ATI stuff using CCC then used Phyxion driver sweeper.
    After that installed the drivers.
    Hopefully this will work.
I found a way to get to the buttons but it was guesswork as I could not see what I was choosing, I used the windows key and the shift key.
    Thanks for the ideas.

Things looked good for awhile but while watching a stream it froze up.
Then did a check watching youtube and again the video was green but still had sound, the same problem as before.
The internet explorer gave a message that it was not responding, same as before
I did a restart and things were working again, as what happened last time.
I could wait for the BSOD but no dump files are being made though as in a few posts back I showed the proper settings for recording dumps.

In summary this is what has happened and has been tested:

    Downloaded windows7 updates.

Then problems have started on a stable system.

Had video problems with no video but sound was normal, in both streaming video and youtube, prerecorded programs are working fine, seems only a problem when used with streaming in IE9.

Multiple BSOD's stating that ATIkmpag.sys was a problem.

Had one that stated could not find a file, don't remember which one.

ran memtest ver 4.2 I think it was, for 4 hours... no errors.

Uninstalled ATI catalyst install manager using CCC.

    Ran driver cleanup Phyxion.

Downloaded latest ATI drivers (I hope it was).

Restarted again and watched part of a online streaming movie(Back to the Future III :) ) in full screen mode). Tried to minimize screen and it froze, message was that internet explorer was not responding but my modem was still downloading the movie buffer as far as I could tell.

Did a control alt delete and cancelled that to get back to previous internet sessions, at that time all internet windows closed (I thought they were separate processes?? ).

I'm stuck here, no dump files to help me either for some reason.

Are their any other tests that might help? Driver verifier maybe?
    A new download of IE9?

Could be the graphics card, already replaced motherboard, PSU on this system.
This is my first build here and have had problems since July last year.
I did have a six week span once with no errors.

I'm doing all I know how and the only good thing is that this is probably better than any training I could pay for.

Any ideas on this problem would be appreciated.

Check event viewer to see what is logged about Internet explorer

There are several ways to find what the problem is. The best is to go into event viewer (type eventvwr in search). Go to the windows log>application tab.

You want to look for critical errors (they have red in the left column ).

When you find them you want to look for critical errors that say app hang, app crash, or anything that relates to the problem.

When you find them please note the event ID, and the source codes and tell us what they are.

Ran sfc scannow, there were no issues found in:
    findstr /c:"[SR]" %windir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log >%userprofile%\Desktop\sfcdetails.txt

No events since the last ones reported though I have gone through some of the actions that produced the last one.

Problem happened again, tried youtube and got a green screen. When this happened before it was followed by a BSOD as outlined in my previous posts.
Since there hasn't been a blue screen yet should I post this somewhere else.

Checked the event viewer and this is the output:
