well... my pc restarts randomly throughout the day while using it... the hardware is fairly new, im using windows 7 basic homex64 here is my reports.... Get a kernal power error or something from event viewer.... ive been having this problem from almost a yr.. i thought it was my previous graphics card overheating... but it still continues even after i spend 300 on a brand new one.... ati 9870 2gb..... well here is my info... thanks for the help.. ive looked everywhere for a solution... please help me... before i take a baseball bat to my beloved pc... LOL
Ive tried reinstalling Os's... manually controlling my fans... putting a HIGH POWERED box fan up to my pc.... lowering my power settings... nothing works... nothing at all..... Also... most of the time.. it doesnt even bluescreen... just freezes.... and gives me looping sound... i usually have to restart a few times before it will even start up...
    here is some other info:

Checked the newest 5 and they are all caused by hardware.

Your .dmp file shows a stop error of 0x124 which is a general hardware error .

A "stop 0x124" is fundamentally different to many other types of bluescreens because it stems from a hardware complaint.

Stop 0x124 minidumps contain very little practical information, and it is therefore necessary to approach the problem as a case of hardware in an unknown state of distress.

You can read more on this error and what to try here... Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try Stop 0x124 - what it means and what to try
