    Recent BSODs

OEM Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
System is approximately 1.3 years old and the OS has not been reinstalled since the initial install (mainly cause it is on an SSD).

I have recently had some BSODs while gaming that claim to be due to a hardware error. My computer is normally overclocked, both CPU and GPU. Stability tests have been done and everything has worked for months without a problem. However, these BSODs have caused me to remove the overclocks (though I am not sure that this is in fact the problem). Temps are fine as the case and parts have ample cooling. Any ideas as to the specific piece of hardware that is causing these issues would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    Hello,

I'd suspect this is being caused by either motherboard or CPU, though it could be a BIOS or RAM issue as well. Start by flashing the latest BIOS found here: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards- ASUS P6X58D Premium

Run all three of the Prime95 tests: https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html

Also run Memtest86 for 7 or 8 (if not more) passes: RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Thanks for the reply! I will definitely follow these instructions. Can you be certain that the graphics card(s) are not to blame?

To quote someone I have great respect for: "We deal in probabilities, not certainties."

No way to be 100% sure that video card is not the cause, but I see nothing to indicate a video issue.
