Help, Windows 7 box that recently gave a blue screen

    Hi there,
I have a windows 7 box that recently gave a blue screen that had options to F11 restore, which it did not respond to, after pressing F10 it would eventually start windows. I did a system restore from windows to April 28th this was the earliest point I found, but after it successfully completed when I restarted it went to the same blue screen. After going into windows again, I downloaded and ran Malware Bytes, Super Anti Spyware, and CCleaner. I then rebooted once again the blue screen. Checked firewall service it is on and automatic, checked Background Intelligent Transfer service it is started and automatic and security center is on and automatic. The firewall is on. I am wondering that if the computer had a virus that did something to system files or a file is missing is it possible to add that one file?
    Thanks for your help,
    Yaz

I was able to get to F11 and did a system repair and it gave a message of repaired 1 and it said something about OS missing from system or drive and it also said completed successfully, but when I rebooted it still shows the blue screen with options. f9 f10, f11 (which takes about 15 min to open anyone of these options). Does this mean it did not fix what it found and I am going to have to do a clean install or is there something else I can do?

I have been reading on this forum and read about SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
I checked this out to see how it would work, so I did it on a pc that is in perfect health and it asked me for the original install CD of my OS of the computer. When I do this on the troubled machine will it request this CD, if so I do not have a CD for the windows 7 box?

Also, is this command the same as system repair, because as I have mentioned I ran this and it found a problem and fixed it successfully?

I ran a memory and hardware diagnostics at boot up, I ran them twice and all test passed.

My machine is a HP Pavillion P6210F AMD Athlon II 64 bit desktop computer.

    Please can someone help me?
