BSODs are terrible things.
I have Windows 7 Ultimate x64, Full Retail Version.
The system is about 1 year old, with the RAM replaced about 2-3 months ago after the last set died. I last re-installed in August 2010.
I'm getting either crashes (that require restarts) or BSODs while running Adobe After Effects CS5. I'll be running it just fine, I'll start a RAM preview, and after it's done rendering and I want it to start playing the preview, the screen glitches up - and I have to restart the computer. It just started happening today, just randomly (no new installed applications, I had run a RAM Preview 5 minutes earlier). Help?
And on a semi-related note, I also get "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL_TO" BSODs on occasion, and those are definitely random.
And if this helps at all - this computer is custom built - I got all the parts of Newegg.
