No DMP files included in upload. Try this moethod instead.
To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.
The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.
To ensure minidumps are enabled:
Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.
There is no content inside the minidump folder..
Is it now I need to run the MapleStory and let it get into the BSOD again?!
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
copy means cut or just copy?!
Can you kindly explain more clearly for me?
I have changed the start up and recovery setting.. what should I do now?!
Sure sorry
Drag the DMP files from the minidump folder to your desktop. Then compress them using winzip (or other compression utility). Attach the zip file to your next post using the "attachment" icon (shaped like a paper clip) in the reply form.
The upper size limit is about 1 Mb so if it is larger break it into smaller pieces.
Ken
thanks for your guidance..
and now,
I've found a content inside minidump folder after getting into BSOD again.
