A little bit ago, something occurred on my computer, that I haven't experienced before, and can't explain. I started to scroll a webpage with the mouse wheel, and everything froze solid. I started pressing some keys on the keyboard to confirm whether or not it was a system freeze, or that my mouse battery had died (I get no battery alerts), when the computer did a hard restart on it's own.
Instead of booting back into Windows, it booted up my Suse drive, so I restarted again and went into the bios to find that I had to reset the boot priority back to my Windows drive.
That seems to have returned things to normal, but not understanding how to connect the dots between the points that I described, leaves me wondering. The fact that boot priority was effected makes it appear that it was some kind of hardware problem, but the fact that it was corrected by the steps that I mentioned, seems to indicate otherwise. Can anyone provide any insight into this?
