    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Crash

    I've had this problem before, I took it to a PC shop and had it looked at, and what they did is just replaced the HDD, and I still have the old HDD. Since having the new HDD it hasn't started acting up until this point. I will attach a zip file of all system details.

    Welcome to Seven Forums.

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
    This Stop message indicates that a kernel-mode process or driver attempted to access a memory address to which it did not have permission to access. The most common cause of this error is an incorrect or corrupted pointer that references an incorrect location in memory.

    Code:

    *******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *
    *                        Bugcheck Analysis                                    *
    *                                                                             *
    *******************************************************************************
    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
    An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
    interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
    caused by drivers using improper addresses.
    If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 0000000000007703, memory referenced
    Arg2: 0000000000000002, IRQL
    Arg3: 0000000000000000, bitfield :
     bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
     bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
    Arg4: fffff80002abf8c3, address which referenced memory

    First thing you need to run a RAM diagnostic test.
    Run memtest86+ with all your RAM cards installed, post the results here.

    When you run memtest86+ you are looking for bad RAM cards, bad motherboard slots, so you need to follow the testing procedure in the tutorial.
    Sometimes errors from these tests can be corrected by adjusting the settings.
    RAM - Test with Memtest86+
    Can you download CPUZ and post a snip of the CPU, Mainboard, Memory, and SPD tabs.
    For posting the information , enter 'Snipping tool' in the Start button > Search box, hit enter. Select the area you want to post and save to a convenient place.

    According to my research, I have to boot up the computer from the flash drive right? I will do that in a little while.

    You can install memtest on your USB!
    Get the files in there.
    Boot from it and let it run 6-7 passes

    Good luck,

    Yes, that is correct.

    This tutorial explains the procedure: RAM - Test with Memtest86+

    I would run Western Digital Lifeguard– Quick Test and Extended Test, your events log has many hard drive errors.

    See my first post, I have added more information to it.

    Both tests have passed. See screen.

    Also, I have all the Windows Updates downloaded.

    So, all thats left now, is to run Memtest86+.

    I'm having trouble booting into the Memtest86+ utility. I don't think I'm doing it right. I have the zip drive plugged in, but I don't see the utility loading, it just boots straight to windows.
