    BSOD BCCode: 116 etc.

    Windows 7 x64
    Original OS
    OEM
    Age - 4 days

It began as I was trying to get my 360 controller to work properly with San Andreas so I downloaded DSEO 1.3b to allow XBCD to work with Windows 7. Things started going a bit slow during the Test Mode option on DSEO 1.3b. Lost power in Test Mode. When switching on Toshiba pre-boot was working but it would just go to a black screen and nothing more. Tried going into Safe Mode and it eventually just gave me a Boot Menu listing HDD CD/DVD etc. Still pre-boot. So I did a system restore. This worked. It was still in Test Mode from DSEO even though it wasn't anywhere on the laptop so I had to download again and get it out of Test Mode. The laptop still seemed a bit slow but I though given time that'd be okay. Tried to watch a youtube video. First one worked but on the second video BSOD. That's all the information there. I scan everything I download with AVG. Haven't even come across a suspicious file yet.

The guys in the shop I got it from have upgraded the RAM. Haven't checked memory modules yet. I am very new to all this and I feel like I'm tumbling down the rabbit hole learning as I go. Any help would be much appreciated.

It shut off around Test 8 15 minutes in. I will eventually get round to doing it but it's honestly going so slow it would melt your brain with wait.

Also to add after I bought my laptop I have heard these guys install pieces in the computer that make you need to come back and get repairs. Reckon that's what's up?
