    Frequent Blue Screens, ntoskrnl.exe

Most of the solutions for ntoskrnl.exe BSODs seem to be for Windows xp. Anyone able to give me a hand?

Your Linksys USB stick caused one of your crashes. What is the exact model of it?

    Code:
    jraid.sys Mon Nov 03 21:20:09 2008 (490FB159)
Update your JMicron RAID driver - ftp://driver.jmicron.com.tw/SATA_Con...WHQL_eSATA.zip

Your BIOS is also very out dated. Do you happen to know which revision you have of your board? It shows you having the F1 BIOS but I can't find that on the Gigabyte site under your motherboard BIOS'

Please run these tests and report back the results
    1. Memtest86 - Run for 7-8 passes - RAM - Test with Memtest86+
    2. Prime95 - Run all three tests for 3-4 hours each or until fail - https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html
    3. Hard drive scan usings SeaTools - SeaTools for Windows | Seagate - Both long and short tests

    Updated my RAID driver.

I've never updated my BIOS. Do you mean which physical revision or BIOS revision of the board?

8 Passes of Memtest didn't find any errors
Prime95 on the other hand bluescreened in minutes for everytest.
Long and short tests were passes.

There are three revisions of your board. 1.0, 1.6 and 1.7. Do you still have your motherboard box or the manual? Did you purchase it online?

I still have the box and the manual, but neither says anything about a revision. The software also says that it is version 1.0.1 . My guess then is that my board is revision 1.0. And yes, I bought it off Newegg.

    Ok.

Go ahead and download the BIOS from this link

    GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1366 - GA-EX58-UD3R (rev. 1.6)

You can use the beta BIOS if you want , but if not then just download the FI revision and flash it use @BIOS
    http://download.gigabyte.asia/FileLi...gbt_atbios.exe

    What is a BETA?
BETA describes a new version that is reliable yet may not include all the features of the final product. During this phase we are previewing new features and gathering customer input to insure our product provides the best experience possible.

When I try to update from the BIOS file on @BIOS after extracting it I guess this message:

    BIOS Partnumber(AWARD) is not correct!

Edit: okay I know for sure it's revision 1 now, I checked the board and it says in the bottom left corner.

Here ya go. Sorry about that. For some reason the picture of the 1.0 showed two blue memory slots and the others showed one.

    GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1366 - GA-EX58-UD3R (rev. 1.0)

That is the link to the 1.0 revision BIOS.
