    Help with BSOD

    Hello,

My computer has gone emo and is trying to kill itself. I am currently running in safemode and have follow the steps in the BSOD forum.

Every time I try to start the computer outside of safemode, it goes into BSOD as soon as the windows logo has disappeared.

I was unable to do step 3.

    3. Run a System Health Report -
START | type perfmon /report - a viewer will appear | Click on "File" and "Save As" an HTML file (default file extension)

I was unable to start the performance logs & Alerts Service as I am in Safemode.

I have attached the Dump file.

    Computer information:
    Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
    MDG
    4 GB Ram
the original system was XP Media Center, switched to 7 back when it was beta.
The hardware is about 3 years old. I reinstalled windows 7 ultimate on it about 2 months ago.

Please help, I really need this computer working and I can't afford to get a new one right now.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I forgot to mention, this happened right after installing the latest trial version of Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Have you tried stripping MSCONFIG of start up items and non mirosoft services?
