windows 7 crash!!! :(! Blue screen 5 times a day

Hi.

With the help of my uncle, I built a strong computer for my recording studio a few weeks ago. Out of nowhere yesterday, it started to freeze and crash and give me the blue screen. I am very mad because it keeps happenening and getting in my way :( Is there any way someone can help me?

My video card is a Hawk Radeon 5770
Processor Intel i7 sandy bridge 2600k
Mobo Gigabit UD4
Computers not too hot or anything. I have a Noctua heat sink

I have not overclocked at all. My main hard drive is a SSD, but I have not had any other problems with my processor even tho i put a decently heavy load on it. Its weird to think it would just start being weird now?

There is no 'fix' for the CPU, you just need to RMA it or get a replacement

okay I started the test. I am starting with the third option, blend. The box with all the workers 1-7 popped up and they all say worker starting.

Is there any shot that it might just be a simple fix and I wont have to RMA the processor? Maybe it was just something weird :/

This failure is either related to overheating, bad CPU or defective mainboard
The most common cause is a bad CPU, unfortunately there is no fix for that

This failure is either related to overheating, bad CPU or defective mainboard
The most common cause is a bad CPU, unfortunately there is no fix for that

Why would it only be happening randomly a few times a day? It seems to recover fine right after but just freezes and then I have to restart it

Why would it only be happening randomly a few times a day? It seems to recover fine right after but just freezes and then I have to restart it

The test will tell us if the CPU is the cause, if it isn't you should look at the BC 0x124 thread linked in post 2 :)

The test will tell us if the CPU is the cause, if it isn't you should look at the BC 0x124 thread linked in post 2 :)

what should I post when the first test is done running. How do i even know when its done...Its been hours

Leave the test running for up to 6 hours, unless errors occur sooner. Errors will show up by one or more of the workers stopping.

I left it up for more than 6 hours and nothing stopped. I guess ill try the next test
