    Blue screen with Windows 7


    Hello,

    I just updated my Windows vista business to windows 7 professional. Since then, I get a lot of blue screens with the following error message:

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.48
    Locale ID: 1033

    Additional information about the problem:
    BCCode: 1a
    BCP1: 00000031
    BCP2: 88187448
    BCP3: 825D5000

    Start on some hardware tests
    Please run these tests and report back the results
    1. Memtest86 - Run for 7-8 passes - RAM - Test with Memtest86+
    2. Prime95 - Run all three tests for 3-4 hours each or until fail - https://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...t-prime95.html
    3. Hard drive scan usings SeaTools - SeaTools for Windows | Seagate - Both long and short tests

    From the information you have given this is what I have came up with

       Information
    STOP 0x1A -Possible causes : Device driver, memory, kernel


    Memory is a high possibility so please scan full 8 passes with Memtest

       Note
    The more Dumps we recieve the better the chance of finding the solution to your problem


    Also run a full scan with your Anti-virus
