Random crashes, failures to sleep

My computer's been working fine until the past week when it started becoming quite unstable. I first got a BSOD while browsing the internet, and it has also had a lot of trouble going to sleep and coming out of sleep. It seems that half the time it will just become unresponsive and stop outputting video when I put it to sleep - all the case, mouse, and keyboard lights remain on but there is no video. It seems like it might be time for a fresh install of Windows 7, but if anyone can find a simpler solution to my problems that would be great.

My specs:

Windows 7 Home Premium x64 retail
I built this computer a year and a half ago and the last reinstall of Windows was in August of 2010.

BSODs caused by Ralink RT2860 series Wireless LAN Card driver (you may have a different manufacturer)
