Battery Error

    Battery Error


    Hello..
    I have my laptop for nearly a year, and my battery is having a problem saying "Consider Replacing Your Battery" and the Battery is 0% With charger plugged in..

    My System Specs:
    System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Compaq Presario CQ61

    Notebook PC(Hawlett Packcard)

    OS
    Windows 7 Ultimate 32Bit

    CPU
    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T6600 @2.20GHz 2.20GHz

    Memory
    3GB Ram ( 3072MB )

    Graphics Card(s)
    Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family

    Sound Card
    HaAudio.sys

    Monitor(s) Displays
    Generic PnP Monitor

    Hard Drives
    Local disk (C) .. Local Disk (D)

    Cooling
    Sometimes..


    In some forums.. Professionals said "Windows 7 error" On the other hand.. "It's a battery error" WHAT THE!!
    Please help me..

    Hi.
    IMO
    If,you charge the battery for hours, then you unplug the adaptor and the laptop Shut Down in minutes then the battery is dead,but in that case you have to test also the charger.
    If,you charge the battery for hours, then you unplug the adaptor and the laptop works just fine for hours then is system error.
    You can also check with power meter in Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options

    Well.. The problem is me and my sister have the exact same laptop with same everything! My laptop is still in warranty period and also I think my sister's also..My sister's charger is ****ed up(Charges but loses connection easily) and there's a battery ****ed up,, Don't know mine or my sister's.. Can the repairer change the Battery and charger??

    Some companies in repairs/replacement includes charger and even battery,some not.
    You still have a warranty?Good,you can easily contact the shop via phone or email and ask :)
