Hello!
I have just been going through the Windows Update forum, and noticed your other thread. There isn't actually a huge amount of detail in the one dump provided, although as I understand it, you have since received more BSoDs.
Therefore, can you please re-upload your files: https://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-d...m-restore.html
and I will take a look.
However, there are two things to go on. One is very weak, and I shall only go down that route if required.
However, there is a stronger line of inquiry. "It happened after full system restore" This immediately suggests that possibly, just possibly, this is a hardware fault.
Since you have some corrupt files in your other thread, (and actually, there *is* one tiny hint of this in your dump file, please may I first suggest that you test your hard disk drive with SeaTools for Windows: SeaTools for Windows
Run a SMART check if you can, and a Short and Long Self Test. Did any of them fail?
Thanks a lot, and the very best of luck!
Richard
Hi! After a small vacation I'm back fighting with my computer .
I have attached a new file dump.
I also ran the seatools tests. SMART and short self test passed. The long generic went on for a long time. Coming back checking the progress I saw that the computer had been unexpectedly shut down. This happened twice. I think it was a BSOD involved first time.
