there is no consistancy to when and how the BSOD will appear, and ive tried everything form reinstalling OS to drivers to memtest my ram etc etc.

I dont know what to do and they often come up with a new and exciting libe to give me about whats happened.

    My specs are

    12gb Corsair dominator ram (1600mhz) 6X2 sticks
    EVGA GTX 570
    i7 970
    antec quattro 1000 PSU
    Crucial 128Gb SSD
    Hitachi deskstar 3Tb 5200 rpm
    Silverstone Raven RV02-e case
    Oh and Win ULT x64

I saw the name of this BSOD and cringed. I had a CPU that actually had a bad core (core 6 of 6) and that's what caused this. I thought it was drivers; I kept reinstalling them. Then I tried hard drives (I also had corrupted files). Then I tried the RAM. Then I tried mobo. Turns out it was my proc.

My suggestion is one of mgorman's: run Prime95's torture test and see if any of your cores fail. If you have a bad core, any process that tries to run on it will fail and can cause a blue screen. It can also corrupt files (which can cause blue screens as well).
