Bsod help please!

I have been getting these bluescreen errors since I have had my PC for 1 year. Most of them went away and some came back now. It only happens when I play games, like COD4 or Bad Company 2. It might have been direct x stuff I messed with the other day, but other than that here is the info.

Punkbuster is causing memory corruption.

Please run

Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program.

Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.

Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.


Run a system file check to verify and repair your system files.
To do this type cmd in search, then right click to run as administrator, then
SFC /SCANNOW

Let us know the results from the report at the end.

Then, I found Memtest+86 gave me errors for my RAM, returned my RAM 5 times and got the same exact time again because no money for new part. I did not do the Memtest this because I know after like 10 tries I will probably get an error.

So, the SFC /SCANNOW gave mt this:

Thats the critical bit. Do you have the win 7 dvd for a repair install?

Yes, I do but I have repaired and reinstalled Windows 7 many times.

Yet something keeps corrupting it. might be hardware, or some software thay y ou are installing.

Lots of errors and many important files including security and registry could not be repaired.


Are you overclocking? or running a RAID?

Nope, neither. I have overclocking programs but I never open them.
