BSOD When Watching Videos Hello... Please help!!
My computer has been throwing hissy fits when I try to watch videos. Netflix, Hulu, Youtube.. you name it, it crashes. At first it was just every once in a while, now it's every time within 5 minutes of watching.
I've done a system restore... no luck. I've updated drivers... no luck. I've unplugged every little thing (I was moving) and no luck. The number of incidences keeps increasing and how long it takes after opening a video keeps decreasing.
My dad and I built this computer 4 months ago from all new parts (no re-furbished or used parts). I really like this computer... help me make it run right!
Thanks,
~Kim~

Yeah it doesn't look like a virus but I'm having trouble nailing down the problem driver that's sending the bad call.
However, several of the crashes are pointing to memory corruption, since you can test memory overnight while you aren't using the computer it's not much of a pain RAM - Test with Memtest86+
will do the trick it needs to run 5 to 7 passes overnight to give a reliable result. Quote: BugCheck 1000008E, {c0000005, 9ca06e1f, a4b7c93c, 0}
Probably caused by : memory_corruption
Followup: memory_corruption I also notice norton is having issues closing as the system crashes. Though not likely this could indicate it's causing a hang (possibly trying to filter all that streaming data)

KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M (1000008e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
Some common problems are exception code 0x80000003. This means a hard
coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but this system was booted
/NODEBUG. This is not supposed to happen as developers should never have
hardcoded breakpoints in retail code, but ...
If this happens, make sure a debugger gets connected, and the
system is booted /DEBUG. This will let us see why this breakpoint is
happening.
