but... looking at that latest one it points to afd.sys a NIC driver...(ethernet controller)

doesn't hurt to download the latest for that....

Don't know why it would have the 3rd - it definitely should be today. Had two... and the nic driver thing, didn't I do that before? Or is this the same area, different thing?

Can you check the date on your dump files? These were not from today...

I did it as soon as I put my computer on... now, is it at all possible that given the BS didn't stay on long but immediately restarted the computer that they didn't have time to save? Because believe me, I definitely did it today and saved what was generated today.

Maybe this thing is messing with my mind here or something... to drive me more insane than I already am... anyway, is there any reason to try it again, or if it's not there, it's just not going to be there?

If it is not there....well I guess it is not there
Maybe it was not a bsod but a clean freeze... In that case you dont get a dump

Oh, trust me, you can't miss the blue, especially if you're afraid/tried of seeing them. LOL But I guess if none of the above helped, just will have to wait until next time... which, at this rate, there will be one. But I can say that since that trouble, it hasn't given me any, and the temp has been low, but I'm back to avoiding doing much on it again. And I guess it knows it didn't install all the updates because it's waiting to do at least one, if not more... that'll wait until tomorrow. Have no patience for it today. LOL

Just thought I'd check in again, couldn't do it last night, crawling internet again. LOL No crashes or whatnot, watched my videos like usual... the temps were low... and I think it did install all the updates because if I remember correctly two days ago, when I got the computer back up, it had the balloon there that there were updates waiting, and it showed all 7 or 8, whatever the number was. So I figured to try half of them, but then they all disappeared. So I guess the installed, or I'll see them next time or something. Guess later I'll try the spyware/malware programs I do weekly... just later, if I have the strength to do it. LOL Last week the computer did crash or freeze after one of them. Sigh. :) Oh, and Happy Friday! :)
