    BSOD issue

    Hi guys!

Not much of a surprise, I have a BSOD issue going on.
My OS is an OEM Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, and it is the originally installed on the system.
My hardware is an Acer Aspire 5820TG notebook, and I bought it in last august. It's been in the repair service a couple of times due to hardware issues, the last time in late March I believe, that is when I got the OS, too. All the updates (recommended and optional) are installed, except KB2506014, because it caused an issue, where I could only get into Windows by disabling driver signature check, otherwise, it just went to system repair, which couldn't do anything. That problem struck from one moment to another, during playing a game, and I still can't get my head over it, because it was an old update, and it still doesn't make any sense, why that problem occurred.
Anyway, I reinstalled the OS from the factory default disc (this was about one or two month ago by the way), and after some struggle I managed to reveal that this update was the one causing the problem (It took me one day or two, but I solved the mystery by narrowing the scope step by step in update install and after I found it, after reading the update description, it made sense, too). Since then, everything was working just fine until now (aside from the occasional VGA driver crash which happens like twice a week and it recovers in five seconds without rebooting, I only get a crash note so it's no biggie).
I got the first BSOD about one or two weeks ago. It appears absolutely random (usually when navigating in windows, not during games so far), and when it does, it usually happens twice in a row: it strikes and another one comes a few minutes later after the system reboots. Although I am not 100% sure that there is always a follow-up BSOD. Aside from that, I observed no regularity in the appearance of these lovely screens. The BSOD itself disappears pretty fast, I don't have a chance to read the long text, the system goes to reboot too fast. What I can make out of it, is that memory dumping is involved. The issue is not frequent though: it only happens in like every 2-3 days or so.
    I attached the requested files.
Thank you for your help, I really appreciate what you guys are doing here. Really.

    Your's faithfully,

    M.L. aka 'sstormleader'

Hi sstormleader and welcome to SF!
I checked your dump files and it appears the errors are memory related (one points at a crashed DirectX)

    I would start with this:
Learn how to install Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
Then remove Daemon Tools (a major source of BSODs) following this procedure:
    DuplexSecure - FAQ
You could use one of the following alternatives instead which don't require a resident rootkit-like driver:
    Freeware MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM(MagicDisc) Overview
    SlySoft Virtual CloneDrive
Gizmo Central -- Enliven your PC

If that all doesn't resolve the BSODs: let's start with this RAM check:
    RAM - Test with Memtest86+
(pay especially attention to part 3 )

Report back with any new findings
