Can't seem to narrow down this BSOD...

Hi,

I recently (twice) reformatted my system to Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1, and had to move the tower from its old location. After doing so I had to use a USB wifi adapter instead of ethernet.

Sometimes the system would suddenly bluescreen, even when I am doing some light YouTube viewing in Firefox. It's rare, but this happened once and caused my system to never boot up again, forcing me to reformat a second time.

I appreciate the help that is offered here on these forums for little more than a thank you at the end of the day; thanks in advance. Hopefully my problem is one that can be easily remedied.

System Info:
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955
Mobo: Asus M4A79-T Deluxe
RAM: 2x2gb OCZ Reaper HPC DDR3 1600MHz
GPU: Sapphire Radeon 4770 + XFX Radeon 4770
HDD: RAID 5 with 3x 500gb Seagate Barracudas

Hi,welcome to SF
You have the AGUx64.sys error a D-link error. (driver is old from 2008)
So for first step please,
Download for ur system a fresh copy of the latest Windows 7 driver from D-Link - World Wide Offices (Urs is Nic D-Link AirPlus Xtreme G DWL-G132 Wireless USB)
Uninstall the current software/drivers from Control Panel...Programs...Uninstall a program
Install the freshly downloaded software/drivers
----------------
Wait and please post back with ANY results

Hi panais and thanks. I occasionally lurk these forums, but this BSOD caused me to create an account.

I guess this confirms my fears that the drivers were incompatible. D-Link USA and Canada do not offer x64 drivers for the DWL-G132, but their Australia site had one for Vista x64, which I used. I guess I will have to buy a new wireless USB then!

Thank you for your help!
