    Dears,

Whenever I connect my iphone the explorer crashes. Going thru the Event viewer I see the following event crash:

Faulting module name: iDeviceEx.dll_unloaded, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4cde567f
    Exception code: 0xc0000005
    Fault offset: 0x08221ae2
    Faulting process id: 0x1e88
    Faulting application start time: 0x01cc3f93f8a8f96f
    Faulting application path: C:\Windows\Explorer.EXE
    Faulting module path: iDeviceEx.dll
    Report Id: 4043fd83-ab87-11e0-a7e8-005056c00008

I removed iTunes and installed a newer one however the problem persist...

Is there a clue to solve this problem?

They are not minidumps in the folder, you may need to Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD

    In mean time try to,
Plugging in the iPod while its off then turn it on and see if that helps.
And please download and install the most recent iTunes and with that ofcurse the new apple mobile USB Driver.

Did you tried to connect the phone in different usb port?
It seems too simple but sometimes works.

Hello, problem solved by going thru tools -- folder options---untick - Launch folder windows in separate process... I had it ticked once... Now whenever I plug my iphone explorer will not crash.
