Daily BSODs, BCCode 124, Windows 7

A few days ago, my computer started shutting down at random intervals. I've run a full Kaspersky Scan and found nothing. I've added nothing new since April (when I installed a new PSU and Wireless PCI card). I'm not sure if it matters or not, but a month ago, my PC wouldn't wake up from hibernation, so I replaced the PSU and turned off the power management system.

    Problem signature:

Still crashing though. Got one today. Has been up and running normal for about five hours now. Updated my video card's drivers and ran four passes of Memtest86. Currently have Firefox, Itunes, Illustrator, Photoshop and Explorer open, so I don't think it is a stress thing. Then I got this:

Your system has been writing minidumps. These are very useful to us in troubleshooting.
Please go to c:\windows\minidump zip the contents of that folder and attach to your next post.

Sure, I've attached every minidump I could find.

You are getting a hardware level error. One that generally is the result of hardware failure or an unstable overclock on a system component.
Since the drive minidumps are all incomplete it's hard to get very specific at the moment.
    Do this for me
    To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header
Select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
    OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

Hopefully forcing it will give the next minidump created time to store the driver list.

    Code:
    WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124)
A fatal hardware error has occurred. Parameter 1 identifies the type of error
source that reported the error. Parameter 2 holds the address of the
WHEA_ERROR_RECORD structure that describes the error conditon.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 0000000000000000, Machine Check Exception
    Arg2: fffffa8004de0038, Address of the WHEA_ERROR_RECORD structure.
    Arg3: 0000000000000000, High order 32-bits of the MCi_STATUS value.
    Arg4: 0000000000000000, Low order 32-bits of the MCi_STATUS value.

Did that...now should I just wait for it to crash again?

yeah, it would help if at least one of those above had the complete driver data in them, kind of flying blind in the debugger without it.

Those settings will hopefully assure it writes fully next time.

I did what you said, and it just crashed. However, it did automatically restart. The first thing I did was check the sysdmp.cpl settings again and they were still set to what you told me to put them at, so not sure why it automatically restarted?

Anyway, I've attached the dmp in hopes that it might have helped. So so you know, it was up for about 24 hours before it crashed.

EDIT: So far, it has never crashed that close together. Eight minutes after the first crash, it crashed again.

Doesn't look to good from the outset.
The error the bug checker popped up is one that only has two real causes.
    1 - an unstable overclock
    2 - a actual hardware level failure

If your machine is overclocked at all, good news removing the clock should return things to normal.
If you are not, it's probably going to be a pain figuring out which component is failing online.

I don't have it overclocked as far as I know. Is there anyway to check that? I've never messed with any CPU or RAM settings before.

If it is a hardware issue, how would I go about figuring it out? The only new hardware I've added is the PSU and the WLAN card. Everything else has been there since April of last year.

Actually if there was a problem with the new psu and it wasn't sending in enough juice that could be it.
600 watts should be more than enough for a single 9400gt though... good brand too.
I really am more of a software guy. I will see if a more senior member might have some more direct info for you.
